This October, Italy’s Lavish Pellicano Hotels have just unveiled their collaboration with writers Laura Brown and Kristina O’Neill to host a writer’s room project in anticipation of their upcoming book, All the Cool Girls Get Fired.
Laura Brown is an Australian journalist, editor, and creative consultant. Former editor-in-chief of InStyle, Brown covered an array of topics from fashion to social issues with humor and relatability. Head of Sotheby’s Media and former editor-in-chief of WSJ Magazine, Kristina O’Neill has made strides in solidifying their presence in fashion. Together, the two are collaborating to share their wisdom and create a comprehensive roadmap for how to navigate life after getting fired.
Hosted at their Hotel Il Pellicano location in Porto Ercole on the Argentario Coast of Tuscany, the hotel is offering an exclusive writing residency for the pair. The Italian scenery paired with the elegant architecture and atmosphere of the hotel is meant to create an inspiring environment for the writers to cultivate new ideas and let their creativity flow.
Having had their hotels serve as a source of inspiration for artists in the past, Pellicano Hotels is taking their deep appreciation of the arts a step further with this project, in hopes of harboring a safe haven for artistry and creation.
