Located at 66 Park Avenue, in the heart of Midtown, is the newly renovated The Prince Kitano New York, which since it’s inception has remained committed to honoring its venerable past through genuine hospitality and opulent offerings deeply influenced by Japanese traditions.

Just a stone's throw away from Grand Central Terminal, the hotel enjoys a prime position that offers both convenience and accessibility.  Its central location means that   Fifth Avenue, Times Square, and the lush greenery of Central Park is just a quick step or train away.

From my first steps, I was enveloped in a serene atmosphere, where every detail exuded grace and refinement, which was no surprise as the first Japanese-owned hotel in NY. The hotel offers 150 lodging options, comprising 109 redesigned guest rooms and suites unveiled during its reopening. The space was inhabited by minimalist yet elegant decor, featuring clean lines, natural materials, and subtle touches of Japanese craftsmanship. I found myself enveloped in a sense of warmth and comfort that transcended mere accommodation.

For dinner, The Prince Kitano offers a thoughtful prepared and nourishing experience at the location’s highly-received restaurant on the lower floor, Hakubai – an upscale eatery showcasing the artful essence of Japanese kaiseki, curated by Executive Chef Jun Hiramatsu. The intimate dining space gives an air of refinement, making it the perfect setting for a romantic dinner for two, a celebratory meal with friends, or an important business gathering.

Steeped in Japanese tradition and hospitality, the Prince Kitano Hotel offers a serene retreat. Despite being located in the midst of the city, the Prince Kitano offers a peaceful haven from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding streets. Its tranquil ambiance and serene atmosphere provides a welcome respite for guests looking to escape the chaos and unwind in tender surroundings.
