For this holiday season, The West Hollywood EDITION features an exclusive installation by multi-disciplinary artist, photographer, and florist, Becky Hearn. Hearn owns a floral design studio, Bucky's Flowers, and is known for her precision-oriented perspective. She has consequently worked with a number of big names in fashion and music, including REVOLVE and FWRD, to name a few. Now, her work is hitting the Sunset Strip. 

Hearn reimagines the classic Christmas tree in her piece, The Tree of Memory, adorned by her famous floral compositions and sculpted masterfully. The mound appears lively, with vibrant hues of cerulean blue spilling from its crown, and streams of pink, red, green and cream trickling out the base of the structure. Crafted from moss and amaranthus, the piece is an interactive gem, prompting guests of the EDITION to partake in the glitz and glamour of a Hollywood holiday through its immersive features. The installation is completed by its digital media feature, in which guests who interact with the design are recorded and projected on the screen. In this way, the magic of this meaningful exchange is captured. As Hearn explains, this ensures that people can not only view the artwork she’s created, but be a part of it. It’s a relationship “where natural beauty and visual storytelling converge.” 

In addition to this hands-on and image-based narrative, The West Hollywood EDITION is serving seasonal cocktails, including their signature Holiday Helper. To deliver this delectable mix of Kettle One Vodka, Drambuie, vanilla, lime, and Boiron passionfruit puree, the hotel has teamed up with Punch. In accordance with the good spirit of the holiday season, proceeds from the Holiday Helper will be donated to Schools on Wheels, a nonprofit organization that delivers no-cost tutoring to Southern Californian students experiencing homelessness.
