UPDATE: UTA Artist Space “_At UTA Artist Space, the health and safety of our visitors, artists, and employees is our priority and therefore we are postponing our Julia Wachtel exhibition to a later date._
_This was a difficult decision to make but we look forward to sharing our new opening date with you in the near future.”_
An immersion in pop culture nuances often then not lead to a nonsensical cloud hanging above our heads. It takes a stellar mind to transmit all the mitigated energy in the present-day and transfuse it into tangible art. [Julia Wachtel](https://juliawachtel.com) has a yearning for transfixing social, environmental, and political issues and transforming them into contemporary-oriented paintings. UTA Artist Space in Beverly Hills will welcome Julia Wachtel to host her first ever solo Los Angeles exhibition that will take place on March 20th. The works set to be on display will include _Thirsty For Myself_ (2019), a tale of 21st century narcissism and _Stone_ (2015) that directly addresses rampant racial stereotypes in advertising campaigns.
