A new art installation by architect Michelle Chang is coming to Los Angeles. Entitled _Scoring, Building,_ the installation commissioned and curated by Jia Yi Gu of Materials & Applications, and hosted by the MAK Center for Art and Architecture focuses on investigating architecture as allographic work. The event will propose an architectural instantiation from the basis of a score, written by the architect, and then translated into instructions for the construction of the installation itself. The installation will take place in three parts, or iterations.
